Bugzilla – Bug 10192
IR remote switch causing SBC to get lost
Last modified: 2009-10-05 14:31:25 UTC
Using the SBC to control the SB2/3, Transporter, or boom - if I use the IR remote to switch the IP3K device from SC > SN > SC, the controller may not switch. The controller will display 'choose player' menu. Controller has 7.3r3437

Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's specific to the single original product.
Moving to 8.0 as this is specific to controlling IP3K devices (and even then may only occur after a specific sequence of controller/IR interaction) and should not block the 7.4 release.
Hmm, regarding the milestone switch, I thought 7.4 release was Jive also, which primarily handles ip3k players. This might actually be fixed now. I'll quickly confirm.
This would be a regression, it should be fixed for 7.4
Switching of ip3k from SC<->SC and SC<->SN now working. The was a remaining issue with SC->SN fixed as of r6983.
This bug has been marked as fixed in the 7.4.0 release version of SqueezeBox Server! * SqueezeCenter: 28672 * Squeezebox 2 and 3: 130 * Transporter: 80 * Receiver: 65 * Boom: 50 * Controller: 7790 * Radio: 7790 Please see the Release Notes for all the details: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Release_Notes If you haven't already, please download and install the new version from http://www.logitechsqueezebox.com/support/download-squeezebox-server.html If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
