Bugzilla – Bug 6859
Rewrite Shoutcast to store station list in the database

Re-targetting SN 7.0.1 bugs to ABBA release.
Add a setting somewhere to allow bitrate filtering when browsing Shoutcast.
how about just displaying the bitrate? i'm not sure if this bug is for SC7 or SN but in SC7 i can't see the bitrate of a given station when i browse the list. and it would be good to be able to sort it ascending or descending (by bitrate).
You can already see the bitrate, but I guess this isn't what people want.
well, i can't say i know what people want, but in SC7 you can't see the bitrate. you can see it in SN, but its all over the place, (due to placement) perhaps it should be left column justified prior to the title, so its easily seen? and like i said, sorting bitrate ascending/descending would be good. is it possible to emulate the way winamp does it inside of winamp? their implementation is very good. it lets you see whats playing as well.
Andy notes the main thing that's needed is the ability to see/filter by bit rate.
Punting.
Shoutcast has been rewritten and support for the new directory is available as of 7.3 change 23330. Please test the new listing and features and let me know of any issues.
Verified fixed in SqueezeCenter 7.3.0 23961 Bug 9954 covers the re-write of the SN WEB UI to be more like SN WEB UI. Mike: Bitrate is still not listed in SC Web UI, please open a new enhancement bug if you still feel strongly on that subject. SN Web UI has bitrate listings at the end of the station name
This bug has been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeNetwork! If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
