Description Ryan Press 2008-08-04 09:21:35 UTC
When using the search box on the top level SHOUTcast menu, I can see the results of the search just fine. However when selecting play or add to playlist, it does not connect. If I select add to favorites it will create a new favorite named "By Genre", "Top 500", "Random 100" depending on if I select the first, second, or third search result.

Verified with 7.2, only SC has the top level search box. Player UI and SN UI are missing this search box.

Suggest removal of the search box.

Just to clarify, the problem SC skin is 'default'. The 'classic' skin SHOUTcast search works as expected.

Unless I am mistaken, removal of this search box will eliminate the ability to search SHOUTcast stations in the 'default' skin.

I'm going to wait on this until I rewrite Shoutcast.
Comment 4 Andy Grundman 2008-09-29 12:39:20 UTC
Shoutcast has been rewritten and support for the new directory is available as of 7.3 change 23330.

Please test the new listing and features and let me know of any issues.

This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release version of SqueezeCenter!

Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already.

If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.

Reduce number of active targets for SC
