Bugzilla – Bug 6158
Favourite "Name" that can not be removed.
Last modified: 2008-01-13 13:33:28 UTC
OK, I have no idea if I have to little information to sort out what caused this but anyway: I have a favourite named "Name". It does not lead to anything and I can not remove it from my Squeezebox. Looking in favorites.opml, the corresponding row reads: <outline URL="URL" text="Name" type="check" /> /Stefan
see also bug 5915
is it related to bug 6091 too? Only items with the content_type=audio can be played, though others can be added. It looks to me as if we didn't the same checks in all places: we can add incorrect stuff, but can't remove it, can add valid stuff, but can't play it. etc.
How did you create that favorite? Could you please upload your favorites.opml file?
Created attachment 2427 [details] My favorites.opml file
Hi, I'm sorry but I can not specify exactly what I did. I know I browsed throuh the menu and tried to press and hold the favourites button so see if I could save as favourite. E.g. browsing for an artist, viewing an artists name and then press and hold the favourites button did not result in a correct favourite, but could have resultet in this favourite. /Stefan
QA to try to reproduce
Couldn't manage to reproduce. If anyone can add more details to how this might happen, please let me know. I tried adding most a favorite every place in the web and player interfaces I could think of.
