Two albums with same name getting combined into one
Last modified: 2012-02-27 17:32:58 UTC
I've got two albums by different artists called "The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions". They are stored in separate directories: -bash-3.1$ cd /mnt/media/music/library/lossless/Non-Classical/Artists/ -bash-3.1$ ls -l Chicken\ Shack/\(2005\)\ The\ Complete\ Blue\ Horizon\ Sessions/ total 40 -rw-rw-r-- 1 robin robin 2128 Feb 25 03:30 About.txt drwxrwxr-x 2 robin robin 4096 Feb 24 20:54 Artwork drwxrwxr-x 2 robin robin 4096 Mar 4 15:56 Disc 1 drwxrwxr-x 2 robin robin 4096 Mar 4 15:58 Disc 2 drwxrwxr-x 2 robin robin 4096 Mar 4 15:59 Disc 3 -bash-3.1$ ls -l Champion\ Jack\ Dupree/\(2006\)\ The\ Complete\ Blue\ Horizon\ Sessions/ total 32 drwxrwxr-x 2 robin robin 4096 Feb 28 10:55 Artwork drwxrwxr-x 2 robin robin 4096 Feb 28 10:55 Disc 1 drwxrwxr-x 2 robin robin 4096 Feb 28 10:55 Disc 2 -rw-rw-r-- 1 robin robin 1291 Feb 28 12:32 Tracks.txt However, after scanning (wipe and rescan) both these albums appear as a single album: Search Albums matching "The Complete Blue Horizon": 1 The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions (2005) by Champion Jack Dupree, Chicken Shack I'm using svn r11587 on FC6.
Robin, this sounds like the same behavior as Bug 4628. Can you check and see?
Yes, it is the same as 4628, which in turn is the same as 4361. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 4361 ***
Thanks Robin!
