Description Patrick Dixon 2006-12-31 02:09:39 UTC
6.5.1 svn /CC3.2 /SB3

I have two albums called 'The Essential' - one by Ella Fitzgerald and one by Barbara Striesand (sorry).

The Ella one is 3 CDs and the Striesand one is 2 CDs

All the disks are tagged with disk numbers (but not the number of disks in the set).

The compilation tag is not set for any of them.

The two CDs are combined by Slimserver into one album with 3 disks by Various Artists.

I'm happy to test a patch against 6.5.1 on a >2000 CDs library with >200 VA CDs, but I can't test against 7.0

Patrick, what do you have the two options in the Compilations section of the Slimserver Behavior page set to?
Comment 2 Patrick Dixon 2007-01-05 01:00:28 UTC
COMPILATIONS:-
Group compilation albums together
List albums by all artists for that album

IIRC - my SS machine is currently hosed

Possibly a duplicate of bug 4361
Comment 4 Patrick Dixon 2007-01-05 11:28:41 UTC
Yes looks like the same cause, VA with disk numbers set.

Well spotted.
