Slimserver 6 (2005-03-18) UTF8 problem when changing tracks
Last modified: 2008-08-18 10:53:41 UTC
With multi-track flac files with embedded cuesheets: if you skip to another track in the currently playing playlist using the web interface, the playlist redraws, but without the correct UTF8 translation. Example: After clicking on a track to cause it to play, the current playlist displays as: 1. Capriccio - Prelude, Op. 85 (1941) from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various 2. String Quintet in F (1879) - 1 Gemässigt from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various 3. 2 Scherzo - Schnell - Trio - Langsamer from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various 4. 3 Adagio from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various 5. 4 Finale - Lebhaft bewegt from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various 6. Intermezzo in d (1879) from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various Instead of as it is supposed to: 1. Capriccio - Prelude, Op. 85 (1941) from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various 2. String Quintet in F (1879) - 1 Gemssigt from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various 3. 2 Scherzo - Schnell - Trio - Langsamer from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various 4. 3 Adagio from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various 5. 4 Finale - Lebhaft bewegt from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various 6. Intermezzo in d (1879) from Strauss - Bruckner Works for Strings - Raphael Ensemble by Various If you refresh the browser page, the playlist then displays correctly, with the correct UTF8 translation.
Possibly related to bug 1374 - I believe Michael is fixing FLAC embedded cuesheets and UTF-8.
Sorry, that's bug 1384.
Gordon, can you confirm whether you're still having a problem with this in recent builds? (after the fix for bug 1384)
Look good (correct UTF8 redraws) with what I'm running now: 6.1 4/17 nightly. Thanks!
Glad to hear it. Thanks for the verification.
