Description Anoop Mehta 2009-02-05 13:36:48 UTC
Boom reboots when trying to play 880 WCBS radio and WINS radio.

I have tested this and my Boom also rebooted..This was connected to SN.

Internet Radio --> World --> Find a City --> North America --> US --> New York--> New York City --> 880 WCBS press play and Boom will reboot.

As of 6:15pm, 2/5/08 problem seems to be resolved via SqueezeCenter, but no change on SqueezeNetwork.

Not sure if its related, but another customer reported the same issue, but with different stations. Stations are listed below.

660 FAN NY

610 WIP Philadelphia

Intermittant problem...WCBS when selected on the preset button, while connected to SC, REBOOTED!
Comment 7 Andy Grundman 2009-02-18 08:45:26 UTC
CBS stations are a mess, I am working with RadioTime to clean up their playlists. Not sure this is the problem but it will be a lot easier to debug if we don't get over a hundred streams in the playlist.

Comment 10 Chris Owens 2009-03-16 09:51:12 UTC
We are now planning to make a 7.3.3 release. Please review your bugs (all marked open against 7.3.3) to see if they can be fixed in the next few weeks, or if they should be retargeted for 7.4 or future.

Thanks!

*** Bug 11123 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Comment 12 Chris Owens 2009-03-30 17:16:42 UTC
Since there's now a planned 7.3.3 release, bugs which won't make the cut-off are being moved to the next target out. If you feel that this bug needs to be addressed more (or less) urgently than the 7.4 release, please cc chris@slimdevices.com and leave a comment in the bug to that effect so we can review it.

Thanks.

PR-0032 & PR-0076
BUG 11326 maybe related
Comment 14 James Richardson 2009-04-13 10:48:46 UTC
bug 11266 may also be close to this one
Comment 15 Felix Mueller 2009-04-17 09:29:20 UTC
I tried both streams from comment #8 on a SBB fw revision 45 from SN and both played just fine.

Should they fail immediately or after a while?
Comment 16 James Richardson 2009-05-05 08:42:59 UTC
I have been trying for several days now to replicate this issue, and I can not.

Firmware 43/45 on SN (Heart) no longer cause the Boom to reboot, using the same station(s) listed in this and related bugs.

This bug may have been addressed by change 24831, which fixed WMA streams for bug 10479
Comment 17 Andy Grundman 2009-06-09 15:26:56 UTC
Can we close this as works for me?
Comment 18 James Richardson 2009-06-10 13:14:26 UTC
This bug is not longer able to be reproduced by Engineering or QA
