Description Blackketter Dean 2009-02-18 10:22:20 UTC
from the forum, qa please verify:

I have only one stream that makes my BOOM go crazy (it reboots itself
every time). It used to work, but now never does (always the reboot...)
I'm using latest BOOM firmware and playing from SQUEEZENETWORK. Stream
is WIN 1010 from NYC:

Works for me
Comment 2 James Richardson 2009-02-18 14:39:34 UTC
bug 10479 related?

Tested with SN r5842/r25032
Boom r44

Will cause the boom to time out and reboot
Comment 3 Andy Grundman 2009-02-18 14:46:10 UTC
Isn't this a dupe of bug 10970?
Comment 4 Andy Grundman 2009-02-18 14:46:33 UTC
And why are these all reported with Boom? I assume it also happens to other players?
Comment 5 Mark Miksis 2009-02-18 14:49:05 UTC
FWIW, to clarify my comment, I have tested this stream today with both:

SC 7.4-25049

and

SN r5842/r25032

Boom is a PQP3 unit at FW44

In both cases, the stream plays fine and the Boom never reboots.

Andy says he can't repro. QA to work with users to get reliable repro instructions.
Comment 7 Chris Owens 2009-03-16 09:51:38 UTC
We are now planning to make a 7.3.3 release. Please review your bugs (all marked open against 7.3.3) to see if they can be fixed in the next few weeks, or if they should be retargeted for 7.4 or future.

Thanks!

James says he can reproduce it reliably but not 100%%
