Description Wadzinski Tom 2008-11-10 07:01:22 UTC
Currently output just goes to the default system output, but users want the ability to select which audio device to use.
Comment 1 James Rome 2008-12-26 07:40:25 UTC
That is not true. On OS X, my default output is the digital output. Instead the output goes to the MacPro INTERNAL speaker. So the basis of this bug is incorrect, and renders SqueezePlay unusable on my Mac. See bug 10290.

It is not a question of an output choice. SqueezePlay is not correctly picking up the system default on OS X.

If this is delayed to 8.1, then SoftSqueeze should be updated to cover the many bugs that have been reported. The previous Slim response has been to use SqueezePlay, but it is totally unusable on a Mac because the output goes to the internal speaker.
