Description Marc Auslander 2008-10-28 12:45:29 UTC
The retro browser applet rotates its output when the controller is held sideways.

It would be very useful if the controller did this for all screens, or at least for those for which it made sense.

Specifically, in navigating a list of tracks or albums with long names, turning the display sideways would provide a much better view of the names.

Richard's made a little progress here, may be possible for 7.4

Reset priority before triage.
Comment 3 Ben Klaas 2009-08-26 07:46:42 UTC
this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.

I still think this is a cool idea, but it's going to have to get pushed off to a rainy day!

Would be wery usefull as of SBS 7.4.0 where the menus on the screen all are to wide for the small screen. Also when using the information browser, this feature would be very helpfull.
Well Richard - I look forward to rainy days ;-)

and now that there is a device that switches skins based on a proximity sensor, it should be able to create similar logic for switching skins on the accelerometer so that the controller changes to the Radio skin when held sideways (given it's the same actual display hardware)
