Description tomasz 2008-10-07 02:57:52 UTC
Hello.

I had installed squueezecenter 7.1 release on a AMD64 notebook with Kubuntu 8.04
and it was running prefectly until today.

I have to upgrade to 7.2 release, but installation fails and I can not to go back to 7.1 release.

I am trying to install 7.2 release with Adept and Synaptic packet manager and both fails.
That is the error message:

"Se produjo un error al enviar los cambios. Posiblemente hubiera un problema con la descarga de algunos paquetes o se detuvo el envío de paquetes. "

Now, I have not squeezecenter and my slimdevice (SqueezeBox Classic) dosen't work.

Thanks in advanced.

Please don't preset targets. 7.2 is out already.

Do you have a rough translation of that error message?

Hello.

I will try to translate. Sorry for my english.

"There is an error to send changes. It would be a problem with the download of several packets or it was stoped the packet sending"

In addition, here is the syslog output:

This may be an issue with AppArmor

see bug 9118 or bug 7580

Hello.

However the installation fails I have seen the next:

I have founded that the link to /etc/init.d/squeezecenter has disappear from /etc/rc2.d

I execute "/etc/init.d/squeezecenter start" and starts correctly.

So, I create the link in /etc/init.d directory.

    root@tomi:runlevel
    N 2
    root@tomi:cd /etc/rc.2
    root@tomi:ln -s ../init.d/squeezecenter S99squeezecenter

And then restart my computer.

So, It's running.

I have been reading the 7580 bug and checking this and I have founded that in the /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld file there was the Squeezecenter repeated for 5 or 6 times.
I removed all except one.

However, when I execute /etc/init.d/apparmor reload I found the next error:

Reloading AppArmor profiles /sbin/apparmor_parser: Unable to replace "/usr/lib/cups/backend/cups-pdf". Profile doesn't conform to protocol
 Profile /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.cupsd failed to load
Warning: found /etc/apparmor.d/force-complain/usr.sbin.mysqld, forcing complain mode
/sbin/apparmor_parser: Unable to replace "/usr/sbin/mysqld". Profile doesn't conform to protocol
 Profile /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld failed to load
: Failed.

I have not worry because the squeezecenter it's running, but i don't known if
this could make another mistake.

Many thanks.

Marking this a dup of 7580, and moving your comment #4 to that bug
