Description Kyle Champlin 2008-08-11 16:38:25 UTC
Here's the logfile. If I turn off App Armor it fixes the issue...but I want app armor on. Also, I can't browse my music folder from the configuration web page.

Matt, is there anything that we can do here? And for what release?
Comment 2 Mark Miksis 2008-08-12 11:31:29 UTC
When the apparmour fix was first added to SC, feedback on the forums was inconclusive. Some users reported that it solved the problem. Others reported that it was completely broken. This might be something for QA to look at, starting with a fresh Ubuntu Hardy install.

Matt: what's your status on this?
Comment 5 Matt Wise 2008-08-14 15:36:00 UTC
So honestly I forgot to assign this to Ross to reproduce. I'm doing that now and have asked him to just get the OS up and verify the issue for me. From there, I'll use the system he sets up to try to solve the issue.
Comment 6 Ross Levine 2008-09-08 11:43:43 UTC
Kyle, something new? I'm sorry I haven't had time to get to this yet. I will soon, I've been meaning to investigate our issue with AppArmor more closely for some time now.
Comment 7 James Richardson 2008-12-15 12:06:05 UTC
This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release version of SqueezeCenter!

Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already.

If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
