Description James Richardson 2008-08-19 10:47:48 UTC
Adding a player to a streaming sync group will cause the group to "skip"

If I am streaming Pandora, this will cause a Skip event. if I add multiple devices, this will cause many skip events, eventual timing out the skip counter.

Same thing with Rhapsody / Slacker / Radio Streams...

Andy, what do you think? Can we not increment the skip count in this case?
Comment 2 Andy Grundman 2008-08-20 12:22:45 UTC
Not an SN bug. No, we need to increment the skip limit whenever you skip tracks, and currently this counts as a skip. In 7.3 with mid-track join I think this will be solved though.
