Random Mix picking genres not selected to play, or not picking genres that are selected to play

wow...detailed.  
does the behaviour you see match the details given for bug 8201.  specifically, is the genre selection problem occurring after you are making changes to the genre selection.  If not, then support will probably have to look into this, as this is known to work just fine under static conditions.

Please also supply the version of SqueezeCenter that you are using.

Yes, this seems to match the behavior described in bug 8201.  The problem appeared after I downloaded 7.1 - I had no difficulty with 6.5.4.  

I just reinstalled 6.5.4. and the Random Mix is now working fine.
