Description Scott McMillan 2005-02-28 20:13:13 UTC
While listening to a song with a long title, I changed the font to large--the
server software crashed immediately, and upon restart would only stay up for
10 or so seconds, time and time again. After rebooting, etc., i was finally
able to change the font immediately upon startup and the problem was fixed.
I think this is related to bug 802--the event viewer yields a different
message, though, and it is in the normal course of displaying a song, not RSS
data, so i opened a new ticket.

From the log:
The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message
DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use
the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for
details. The following information is part of the event: Illegal division by
zero at /PerlApp/Slim/Player/SqueezeboxG.pm line 546.

The name of the song displayed (no laughing):
1. This Old Man (Knick-Knack Patty-Whack)

My 2 year old was not happy that his Disney song stopped suddenly . . .

with the new scrolling code from Triode brought in a few days ago to the 6.0
builds, this should no longer be a problem.

Please try the 6.0 beta and verify that this bug is fixed. Reopen if the issue remains.
Comment 3 Chris Owens 2006-06-16 14:40:59 UTC
There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
