artwork hover appearing beneath mouse cursor position

I believe that in previous revisions of SC, the artwork mouse-over hover in default skin used to appear constrained to a max size.

I'm finding that the hover image is now displayed in the images native size.

The position is also a bit random - if I move the mouse over the Now Playing thumbnail from the top, it appears beneath the cursor position, and is mainly in view (although curiously part of the white outline around the image is missing).  However, if I move the mouse over the Now Playing thumbnail from the bottom, the popup appear above the cursor position, which is mainly off-screen.
