Something is broken in the 7.x series of SC releases.  I'm not sure when this problem was introduced, but if I browse my Music Folder, I can't actually play an entire directory of audio files.  If I attempt to play an entire album, I hear nothing.  My transporter looks like it is attempting to play the file(s), but the interface comes right back with no sound having been heard.  I have to drill down all the way to a single file in order for it to play.  This ONLY happens when browsing the Music Folder.  It works correctly when accessing the same files through Albums, Artists, Genre, etc.  I store my music files (FLAC) on a network share, but I don't know if that makes any difference, or not.

Are you really using 7.3 builds for this?  Please leave targets undefined so that they are flagged for review by QA.

see also bug 8610 (this looks like a dupe), which is fixed at change 21391.  Please update to something more recent than that build (July 2 onward) and reopen if you still have problems.

If so, please go to server settings->logging, set player.source to DEBUG and attach the section of server.log for when you try to play something.
