Description James Richardson 2008-06-26 09:23:47 UTC
Favorites no longer show up in the SC Alarm Playlist selection. The only thing that shows up is:

The Current playlist
albums Mix
artist Mix
Song Mix

bugs just like this have already been marked as dupes of bug 7970.
Comment 2 Max Spicer 2008-06-27 02:36:35 UTC
They never did on SC, however they should do. Adrian is looking at changing XMLBrowser to allow it to be used essentially as an INPUT mode for selecting favorites. This would then need implementing in SC/SN/SBC.

Also, Natural Sounds and Sound Effects should also be able to be used as alarms.

Triode/Max: will one of you be able to tackle this in the near future?
Comment 5 Max Spicer 2008-07-25 08:01:13 UTC
The alarm clock does now allow the selection of favorites, thanks to Triode. Natural sounds and sound effects are still to come. I'm afraid that I'm not planning on adding these.
Comment 6 Adrian Smith 2008-07-25 14:13:08 UTC
Natural sounds will require a different mechanism as it needs some async http code - the easiest solution looked to be extending xmlbrowser, but it is a different interface from what we have now. I did plan to look at it but I am probably running out of time to hit your timescales.

Moving Natural Sounds as Alarm to a new bug for clarity, and making it's target 7.3(In reply to comment #6)

Verified functioning properly with r19 & 7.2-22118
Comment 9 James Richardson 2008-08-15 08:42:01 UTC
As of today, using r31, from the Player UI I am unable to select anything other then Favorites or Current Playlist when setting up a new alarm.

SN Web UI works

Works fine with boom attached to test.sn, fails on boom.sn
Comment 11 Andy Grundman 2008-08-15 08:53:25 UTC
Fixed, this can happen when restarting the daemon if the web server is not running when slimservice restarts. This should not be an issue on production.
