Description Philippe Kehl 2008-02-22 07:44:50 UTC
On the Jive the main menu entry "Music Services" shows up even if no music services plugins are enabled. Clicking it lets the arrow spin forever. On the SB3 the menu entry disappears from the main menu even if its enabled in Player Settings -> Menus.

I have the following plugins disabled in "SqueezeCenter Settings -> Plugins:
iTunes, Last.fm Audioscrobbler, Live Music Archive, Live365, MP3tunes Music Locker, Podcasts, MusicIP, Pandora

I think the menu should either not show up at all or it should open and show something like "none (installed/configured)" or "empty". I'd prefer the latter option (open and show).

Regards,
flip

We'll have home menu configurability with 7.0.1. See bug 5366.

hmmm...on second thought I'm not entirely sure this can be closed off as a duplicate.

Slim::Control::Jive could have a check to see if the music services query returns anything, and only provide that menu items if it does. That would be in addition to the Jive-side customizable home menu.

reopening, assigning to myself, target 7.0.1

This has been mentioned on the forums a few times, probably needs fixing for 7.0.1.
