Description James Richardson 2008-02-19 14:28:55 UTC
SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0 - 17630 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252.

When playing an internet stream (RadioIO / Rhapsody / Pandora) go to Settings > Basic Settings > Clear Library and rescan. Notice that when you click OK, the currently playing stream will halt.

I am able to restart the stream normally. This happens on transporter / SB3

While this is not a critical bug, it is a bad user experience.

This is normal, since the db is cleared when you wipe and rescan anything currently playing must stop. Advice: don't rescan while playing, or do just a scan for new music. :)

Punting this out for now, will revisit post 7.0
Comment 3 KDF 2008-02-19 23:13:52 UTC
this is also pretty much a dupe of bug 4105 which is marked as wontfix, despite ending with what looked remarkably like plans for changes.
Comment 4 Andy Grundman 2008-02-20 05:00:34 UTC
Yeah, but it still wouldn't fix the issue that you'd have to stop and restart the current track. Dean is right in that bug that the real fix is to never need a wipe and rescan, but automatically pick up new and changed files, etc.
Comment 5 Andy Grundman 2008-03-27 08:37:24 UTC
Not easy to fix, punting.
Comment 6 Chris Owens 2008-06-19 09:17:43 UTC
Andy is it apparent to you when might be a good time to try for this bug again, or should we mark it for 'future'
Comment 7 Andy Grundman 2009-05-16 05:42:15 UTC
Fixed in 7.4, remote tracks are no longer in the database, so this problem no longer exists.
Comment 8 James Richardson 2009-05-19 06:28:58 UTC
*** Bug 12097 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
