I've got playernames like "Küche" which won't display correctly in SN beta web interface.

possible patch to allow utf8decoding in templates

I'm not sure whether this is the right fix or whether the encoding could be fixed in the code, when the DB queries are done.

Brandon - did you check in some change regarding this issue?

I don't like my patch that much, as we'd have to add the utf8decode filter to any template where variables from the DB are used. A global solution would be better.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
