Description James Richardson 2008-02-15 15:01:51 UTC
Players & Controllers > settings > Disconnect Hyper-Link

Clicking on the “Disconnect XX from SqueezeNetwork” hyper-link should display a warning message before disconnecting the player.

Also, once you have disconnected the player, there is no information provided on how to re-connect the player to SqueezeNetwork.

I suggest we include help text on the Players & Controllers section for disconnected players with instructions on how to re-connect the players to SN.

I agree, this link is confusing.

Let's change the link text to "Disconnect <playername>"

When you click you should be prompted with this dialog:

Disconnect <playername> from SqueezeNetwork and reconnect to your SqueezeCenter?

Two choices: Disconnect, Cancel

Will split second half into another bug.
Comment 2 Blackketter Dean 2008-02-18 09:20:20 UTC
Now that we have the ability to pull players via the remote and SC web, we'll use those UIs, instead of potentially orphaning a player via the SN web UI.

Attempting to verify this in SqueezeNetwork r2623/r17641

The Disconnect Player option has been removed, replaced with Delete

Now, when clicking on the delete button, nothing happens. The player is not removed as expected. There is a dialog box prompting me about the evils of removing the player, but not the way Dean describes it.

Also, no players are removed from SN.

This happens on connected & disconnected players.
