Currently, if a I go to the Settings > Advanced > Software Update, I will see a message that reads "Updated software is availble for this remote. This proccess may take a few minutes."

I will see this message even if the remote has the exact same version of firmware installed as availble via the update.  From this menu UI, there is no way for the user to know if they have the latest version already installed or not.

Some users may get confused by this when they attempt to update manual, as there is no indication that they have the same version already on the controller as is availble via any update method.


Suggest we re-write the message to be more User Friendly to the following:  "the remotes current firmware is the same as this version.  Do you want to continue?"

This will percipitate adding a nother YES/NO dialog box presented to the user.

OR,  you could show the currently installed firmware version as well as the updated version on the Software Update UI.
