Description mike dilley 2008-02-08 11:02:28 UTC
In the current rev of SqueezeCenter I don't have any basic settings for my Ray receiver in the settings menu.

I have a Ray and 2 squeezeboxes connected to a network, I have basic settings for the 2 squeezeboxes, but the Ray only shows Player name and information

None of the other usual basic settings are applicable the receiver. screensaver, now playing display are both for displays only, and the play other songs pref only applies to the IR remote.

You're this close > < to being right. :)

The one option that we do need, the one that Mike was having a problem with, was the option for the "Play Other Songs In Album" behavior.

Right, well that's what Bug 5981 and bug 5595 are for. The "current" state of play is that the play other songs feature is ONLY implemented in the Player UI code (Buttons/*) so it has no connection to Jive or Receiver. The basic screen correctly reflects this current state. In other words, regardless of setting of this pref, Jive/Receiver will only ever play the one song.

Sounds to me, like this one should really be merged with 5981/5595 and push up the review of this behaviour to 7.0.1 rather than leaving it as a 'future"

I agree that's fine, thanks for pointing that out.
