Description Blackketter Dean 2008-02-02 14:23:12 UTC
The firmware update setting always says that there's a new version, even when the offered version is the same as the one you have.

The text should probably say:

"The firmware is up to date. If you'd like to reinstall, choose Update Firmware."

When the version on the device is the same as the one offered.

This can't be addressed correctly until bug 6019 is fixed. I could make the Settings text as above, and keep the forced update text the same for 7.0 or 7.0.1. Dean let me know that you'd like.

These are only one bug.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
