Description Greg Klanderman 2008-01-20 23:20:39 UTC
If you go to an album page via browse artists, the "path" at the top of the page shows

Home > Artists > Some Artist > Some Album

and if you go via browse albums you see

Home > Albums > Some Album

reflecting how you got to the album. However if you then click on a track on the album page, the track page no longer reflects how you got there, always showing

Home > Some Artist > Some Album > Some Song

The song page's "path" should reflect how you got there.

variation of bug 2170

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 2170 ***

Hi Michael, I do not think this is a duplicate of that enhancement request.

This is an actual bug (possibly recent) whereby the breadcrumb does not reflect the path by which you got to the track page you are on.

Bugs 2170/4722 are a request that the breadcrumb link take you to where you were on that level of the hierarchy rather than the top of that level of the hierarchy, which I agree would be a great enhancement.

improve summary

Yeah, I was a bit overhasty. But after all "improve crumblist" covers them both ;-).

Will take a look at this later today.
