With Classic Clock selected as the screensaver, whenever the screen updates as the time changes there's a brief pop of a colored dot, or a flicker on the numbers.

Hm, I see a big flash of flicker on the display.  I've seen this at other times (not just in this screensaver.)

Any idea what's going on, Richard?  Could it be a frame-buffer flipping race condition or something?

I think the "flicker on the numbers" is deliberate, a fade transition is used when the time changes.

I have on occasion seen the flash Dean refers to. I am not sure of the course just yet.

I think this is a duplicate of the screen flicker bug.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
