this is problematic both when using iTunes and when using a music folder, also. so it doesn't have anything to do with scanning i'm guessing--just the sort order when adding to the current playlist.
I am experiencing this problem. I have multiple disc albums of mixed artist. The problem seems to exhibit itself whether iTunes integration is switched on or not. In both cases I used the same folder structure as my iTunes library (custom structure not sorted by iTunes). I have not checked a multiple CD album with all songs by the same artist. If I switch on Group Discs option "Treat multi-disc sets as multiple albums), it itentifies which songs belong to which CD and sorts by track number. If I switch this option off, it then seems to sort by artist name. Screen shot mh-sort1.gif shows the album list with the option on Screen shot mh-sort2.gif shows the playlist of the combined album out of order I'd be interested to hear when this one is fixed, please would you email me? If I can provide any testing, please let me know. Thanks Matthew
