Description Blackketter Dean 2007-12-20 06:48:01 UTC
Per the Jive UI spec, if there's not a specific item to play, pressing the Play button on the remote should act as a Go.

This behavior is missing in the home menu as well as many other places. It would be great if there could be a default behavior in the case that no handler for Play is available.

When this bug is addressed, we should review all the screens and open specific bugs for cases where this behavior is wrong.

Note: The inverse, where Go triggers a play should only happen whenever there is a play icon on the right side of the menu item, per bug 6220.

probably needs addressing for 7.0. Setting priority to P3
Comment 2 Richard Titmuss 2008-01-11 06:33:25 UTC
This is an important UI feature, bumping up to P2.

fixed in r1472

from first comment: "It would be great if there could be a default behavior in the case that no handler
for Play is available."
