No matter what I submit when I use randomplay (no genre filters on) I get the same sequence from the same album by the same artist.  Does not appear to randomly select an album/artist/songs. I also see some new response I do not understand which come back asynchronously if I do this over CLI (e.g perfset plugin.randomplay type artist).  Is the perfset response documented anywhere?

Same thing happens in the web interface and using the CLI interface

Randomplay is a great feature, please don't destroy it (:-) !!!

please search open bugs before filing new ones, or at least be very specific as to the different symptoms.

as for your documentation question, please see the answer I have already given, and please have some level of patience before crossposting within minutes.  People are already busy enough without having to chase down several threads on the same issue.  thanks.

My bad.  Not a bug.  had a genre set as a filter and did not notice that
