This is worse than just some spurious search result page links appearing on the advanced search page.  It is not possible to enter text into the search boxes.  If you keep pressing tab to move through controls on the page, eventually the form dissapears and you see two rows of the spurious page links, followed by the search results.  I guess the live search box was still hidden on the page somewhere and by tabbing through the controls this has re-fired the live search.

my feeling is that this is basically the same problem as not being able to refine the search.  revealing a hidden advanced search form doesn't work.  It needs to be one or the other. This is basically linked with bug 5699 and bug 5698.

Michael doesn't think this is valid any more, but will make sure.

In the default skin, if I click on Home->My Music->Search Music, the breadcrumb trail reads "Home > My Music > Search".

If I click the Search button within the advanced search form, the breadcrumb trail changes to "Home > Advanced Search".  It should be "Home > My Music > Search > Advanced Search"

This does seem fixed, although with the same awkwardness expressed in Phil's comment #4 and in my other comments made earlier on another advanced search bug report.

The search pages will definitely need some more work.
