After the screensaver in stopped mode is activated, scrolling the wheel does not quit the screensaver. Pressing a button is needed to get out of screensaver.

In the absence of a UI spec, it's hard to say if this is a feature or not.  The add, play, volume, pause, rew and fwd buttons do nothing as well.  Only Back and Home seem to do anything to exit the saver mode. not a horrible thing, to my mind.  See also bug 5429

Fixed between r478-r480.

You may need to do a factory reset, or reselect your screensaver for the fix to work correctly.
