Description Wallace Lai 2007-08-28 17:44:07 UTC
Firmware Version is PQP2, r339, r339m, #53.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure SlimServer is running.
2. Turn on Jive and select the player connected to this SlimServer.
3. Use Jive to select and play a song.
4. Half way through the song, press and hold the REW button.
5. Notice the song is not being rewound. There is no "REW" icon to indicate the current "REW" state either.

add functions

the scanning functions arent implemented at all yet. This makes it work, but there is nothing immediately obivous that lends itself to the ui for this. it could be a status icon change, or a popup. Either would likely need a bit more from SS end of things.

I see. I will revisit the issue when the new firmware is released.

Alan, is this something you should be involved with wrt your scan work?
Comment 5 Alan Young 2007-12-30 08:23:17 UTC
Certainly how Jive interacts with any revamped scanning implementation will have to be considered. I think that is the case even without any changes though - there needs to be some sort of Jive implementation with the current SC implementation.

the debug lines aren't needed, but it should work with some slight changes. will get back to you shortly.
