Description Wallace Lai 2007-03-27 16:39:14 UTC
System Info: Dell Optiplex GX620, Vista SP0 ENU

Steps to Reproduce:
1. On a clean ghost of Vista SP0 ENU, install SlimServer 7.0a1 of build
2007-03-27.
2. Start SlimServer and play some wav tracks of various frequencies and
sampling rates.
3. Notice both mono and stereo wav tracks with 16, 24, and 32 bits at 88200 samling rate
do not stream:

Track A: wav, 16 bits, 88200 sampling rate, mono, 440 Hz, 10 seconds,
Track B: wav, 16 bits, 88200 sampling rate, stereo, 440 Hz, 10 seconds,
Track C: wav, 24 bits, 88200 sampling rate, mono, 440 Hz, 10 seconds,
Track D: wav, 24 bits, 88200 sampling rate, stereo, 440 Hz, 10 seconds,
Track E: wav, 32 bits, 88200 sampling rate, mono, 440 Hz, 10 seconds,
Track F: wav, 32 bits, 88200 sampling rate, stereo, 440 Hz, 10 seconds,

Note: None of the 32 bits wav files streammed. That is another bug and had been logged already.

Wallace, these WAVs do not stream for you at all? Only the 32 bit ones don't stream for me and is covered by bug 4827. The others stream at the wrong rate and is covered by bug 4712.
Comment 8 Richard Titmuss 2007-04-03 01:53:29 UTC
I found a minor bug in slimserver that could cause this problem. Please retest
with trunk r11717 or branch 6.5 r11718.
Comment 9 Wallace Lai 2007-04-05 10:31:12 UTC
Tried these 6 tracks with 6.5.2 - 11726 on XP. They are still not playing. The progress bar does not progress at all.

Per steven this is a dupe of bug 4827 and bug 4812
