Description Wallace Lai 2007-03-23 14:56:13 UTC
System Info: Gateway, P4, 2.00 GHz, 256 MB of RAM, XP SP2 ENU
SlimServer Version: 7.0a1 - 11653
Perl Version: 5.8.8 MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt

Steps to Reproduce:
1. On a clean ghost of XP SP2 ENU, install SlimServer 7.0a1, build 2007-03-22.
2. During the install, make sure the "Automatically Start" button is checked. This is for auto starting SlimServer after system reboot.
3. Reboot the PC.
4. Notice SlimServer does nto auto start after reboot.

Note: This is the same bug as 4606. Except that is for 6.5.1. This is for 7.0.

Chris, should this be a kept separate from bug 4606 or should it be resolved as a duplicate?
Comment 2 KDF 2007-05-07 15:12:35 UTC
Unless there is some reason we may need to have different solutions/designs to deal with the issue, this really should be duped. If not, it is just clutter.
Comment 3 Michael Herger 2007-12-10 07:49:29 UTC
Fixed a while ago in the installer rewrite
Comment 4 Wallace Lai 2008-01-15 11:40:17 UTC
Verified the fix with SqueezeCenter_trunk_v2008-01-15.exe on XP SP2 ENU.
Bug as written is no longer seen. Regression tests around this area did not turn up any bug caused by the fix.
Marking as "VERIFIED".
