Description Matt Richards 2007-03-23 06:54:54 UTC
Doubtless this will be yet another one that only happens to me, but . . . in the web interface, when I press the down arrow next to a song name in the current playlist, the song moves to the 2nd position in the playlist rather than down one from where it was.

Matt, you are correct :) I am not able to reproduce the behavior :(

I am beginning to think that the behavior you are experiencing here along with Bug 4832 is a result of some MySQL database issues. The first thing you may wish to try is to delete the Cache directory in the C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server. You should have SlimServer stopped before you do this. Once deleted restart SlimServer and wait for it to finish scanning before trying again. Let me know if this made any difference.

Hello,

I did that -- stopped SlimServer, deleted the entire Cache directory, then started SlimServer up again and waited for the lengthy rescan -- to no avail. When I started an album playing and pressed the down arrow next to one of the songs in the playlist, that song jumped to the second position in the list.

Is there some sort of fuller re-install I can do? Any other ideas? I did a scandisk, my Windows Updates are all up to date, ???

Matt, I see the behavior just as you describe now! I am not sure why I did not see it before. From what I can tell the behavior appeared with 6.5.1. The UP arrow works properly but not the DOWN arrow.

Dan, can you take a look?

fixed in trunk at change 11732 and 6.5 at change 11733
RFC issues can be opened as new enhancements, as this fix is only reverting what was originally in the templates but lost during an unrolling a while back.

Fixed in 6.5.2, which is now released and available for download at http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html
