Description Jeremy Kipnis 2006-12-26 11:14:52 UTC
Utilizing a Macintosh 17" Dual Core PowerBook with VERSION INFO:

SlimServer Version: 6.5.0 - 9916 - Mac OS X 10.4.8 (8L2127) - EN - utf8
Server IP address: 10.0.1.2
Perl Version: 5.8.6 darwin-thread-multi-2level
MySQL Version: 5.0.22-standard

I am unable to execute audible or inaudible FF or FR in any play or pause mode using Apple Lossless Encoded Music Files.

Therefore, certain very long songs (>30 min) are nearly unplayable, especially if one makes a mistake.

Also, there is no time line in SlimServer, as there is in iTunes 7.1, so as to be able to directly click and select any portion of a song for playback instantly.

Cheers and Merry Christmas!!!

Jeremy

this is not a bug, FF and REW do not work on non-native formats. Apple lossless is currently transcoded.
