Bugzilla – Bug 4377
Album Display index letters wrong
Last modified: 2007-05-18 08:17:44 UTC
I downloaded a new version of SlimServer (6.5.1 - 10337) and there is an error in the album display. I have a number of albums which begin with the letter "O", and one which begins with "O" with an umlaut (2 dots) over it. With this version of SlimServer, in the album display there is no "O" in the list (it goes "MNPQ"), and the O with the umlaut appears at the end. However, when I select "P" all of the "O" albums are displayed, including the one with the umlaut. If I select the "O" with the umlaut, I get the end of the list but not the album which starts with that character. This did not occur with 6.5.1 - 10266 or any previous version.
partially covered by the scope of bug 3255
How many albums do you have starting with "O"? And how many total albums in your collection?
Subject: RE: Album Display index letters wrong Somehow, this bug has now disappeared! I have not changed SlimServer versions, but I restarted the system after a power failure. I have done a "Clear library and rescan" which had no effect on this problem. When the bug last happened, I had 1908 total albums, 43 starting with a normal "O" and one starting with "O" with an umlaut. I will see if this returns. -----Original Message----- From: Slim Devices Bugzilla [mailto:bugs@bugs.slimdevices.com] Sent: Thursday, October 26, 2006 2:56 PM To: steve.sheafor@alumni.rice.edu Subject: [Bug 4377] Album Display index letters wrong https://bugs-archive.lyrion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4377 ------- Comment #2 from chris@slimdevices.com 2006-10-26 13:55 ------- How many albums do you have starting with "O"?
