From the browse album display, it appears that SlimServer can display a year for an album.  So the advanced search should be able to also return albums when searching by year.

please clarify.  Advanced Search returns a list of songs matching input criteria.  The resulting track list is formatted the same as any other track list. I see no album list.

Brain fart.  I was thinking Advanced Search also returned artists and albums, but it only returns tracks.  The request to return artists and albums has already been covered in bug 1121.
