If I have my PC running Slimserver shutdown, or the service stoppped, the SB'3 running FW59 will display a message saying "Connecting to SlimServer...."

In previous versions the message would timeout and the box would go into the power off config. The disaply would go blank. When I was having problems getting the SB & Slimserver to connect I got this message, went to bed thinking the timeout would occur, but got up the next morning and the display was still active.

Just concenred that this could lead to burn-in on the VFD.

Mick, are you still seeing this?  What firmware and slimserver version are you using currently?

Could be related to 3808?

Sorry Chris, I've been away and hadn't checked mail for a while. Yes, this bug is duplicate of 3808 which I see Richard has implemented a fix for.

Unfortunately I've reverted back to 6.3 & FW55 while I wait for 6.5 to mature.
I wanted to test Fw58/59 as it has a fix for my receivers auto input sensing.
