Description Philip Meyer 2006-07-20 11:07:19 UTC
The last entry on the browse page links is "",
which doesn't seem to correspond to any genre displayed in the list.
Comment 1 Chris Owens 2006-07-20 16:53:10 UTC
Seems likely to be related to bug 3786.
Comment 2 Dan Sully 2006-07-21 14:46:05 UTC
Phil - let me know if this is fixed after a wipe & rescan.
Comment 3 Philip Meyer 2006-07-21 15:50:03 UTC
No, I still have the strange link.

Phil - I've been unable to reproduce this with my Unicode test collection.

Could you attach the relevant part of a "View Source" from a browser?

Which browser are you using?

<a href="browsedb.html?&amp;artwork=1&amp;hierarchy=genre,contributor,album,track&amp;level=0&amp;orderBy=&amp;player=00%3A04%3A20%3A05%3Aac%3A35&amp;start=53#%C3%AF%C2%BB%C2%BF"></a>

I use IE and Firefox.

Phil - change 9152 may fix this issue - could you update and let me know?

Thanks
Comment 9 Philip Meyer 2006-08-24 23:42:58 UTC
I have updated and indeed the spurious page link has gone. I haven't done a rescan.

However, I now notice two genres on the end of my genre list "Live" and "Pop" that
shouldn't be there. These are duplicate genres that already exist in the genre list,
in the right sort position. I will try a full rescan to see if they go away.
Comment 10 Philip Meyer 2006-08-25 00:23:39 UTC
A full rescan has produced the same problem of duplicate genres. I've raised bug 3998, as it
is probably unrelated.
