Bugzilla – Bug 3787
Spurious page link "letter" in Browse Genres
Last modified: 2008-09-15 14:39:24 UTC
The last entry on the browse page links is "", which doesn't seem to correspond to any genre displayed in the list.
Seems likely to be related to bug 3786.
Phil - let me know if this is fixed after a wipe & rescan.
No, I still have the strange link. A B C D E F G H I J L M N O P R S T Clicking it takes me to the last page.

Comment on attachment 1378 [details] An mp3 file with artwork embedded in bmp format Sorry, attached to wrong bug.
Phil - I've been unable to reproduce this with my Unicode test collection. Could you attach the relevant part of a "View Source" from a browser? Which browser are you using?
<a href="browsedb.html?&artwork=1&hierarchy=genre,contributor,album,track&level=0&orderBy=&player=00%3A04%3A20%3A05%3Aac%3A35&start=53#%C3%AF%C2%BB%C2%BF"></a> I use IE and Firefox.
Phil - change 9152 may fix this issue - could you update and let me know? Thanks
I have updated and indeed the spurious page link has gone. I haven't done a rescan. However, I now notice two genres on the end of my genre list "Live" and "Pop" that shouldn't be there. These are duplicate genres that already exist in the genre list, in the right sort position. I will try a full rescan to see if they go away.
A full rescan has produced the same problem of duplicate genres. I've raised bug 3998, as it is probably unrelated.
