The good news is: it doesn't crash the player(bug 3381).  The bad news is: it doesn't work.  I don't consider this a showstopper for releasing FW58 to beta.

Chris this seems to work ok for me, I have tested fade in/fade out and crossfade with flac. Did you set the crossfade duration? I have notice this defaults to 0 in SS6.5, not sure what it was in SS6.3. Any more clues on how to reproduce?

Hmm must have been a quirk of installation or personality.  :)

Seems to work.
