I allready added my comments for bug 3334 but was informed the bug was dublicated with 3301 (fade in/out). Since I struggled to downgrade the firmeware i did not test again. Since Version 6.3.0 was now released I tried again and failed again.

When my Sqeezbox is upgraded (for Version 6.3.0 to Version 55) it works just fine for the first view seconds. Than the display gets dark but still plays the sound. Then it stops playing. The Sqeezbox somehow looses connection to the Server. Fade in/out is disabled but should not make any change since the bug is marked as solved.

The problem occures only with he Squeezbox. When a Medialpayer or Winamp is used as client the problem does not appear. I downgraded now again to Version 6.2.1 and Firmware 28 and it works now fine again. I had the same problem when upgrading to 6.2.2. It seems to me that somehow the firmware from Version 29 - 55 causes a problem with my Sqeezbox 2 (By the way the serial Nr: 23168AO). It would also be helpful if you could provide a tool or a workaround to downgrade the Firmware.
