Description Thomas Engelschmidt 2006-05-14 15:10:43 UTC
My slimserver has been running for dayes with out any problems, I had jo a few day decreased saslautd og appache number of proceess the run. My little 800 passiv cool with 256 works as charm ,

I runing the nightly builds from 2006-05-04, and via http://zama.org/munin/org/zama.org-memory.html noticied an steap increase in ram - hmm I tried to restart slim server an moments later I jused at lot less memory .

I will upgrade to newer version to se i can replicate the problem -
But anaway is there a memory profiler in perl - Rather frank, i don't know a old used pizza box worth of perl - but I have coden Enterprise java for some years. And there by seen my fair share of mem problems..

If you need access to my box - it can very easy be fix. :-:

I'm running on a mysql 5.0 backed which nightly check 02,00 ever day.

Thoms

Please let me known how I kan be of assistance

Sammen comment as in day graph - the decrease in memory between friday and saturday - was after i adjusted the number of process httpd and saslauthd used.

Backend is a mysql 5.0, where the media libery is checked every night a 0200 (from the plugin)

Please test a new 6.5 nightly build. It's still a bit unstable but since the scanning has been split into a different process, any memory leaks that are still present won't affect the main server.
Comment 5 Chris Owens 2006-06-30 15:13:04 UTC
Thomas are you still seeing this memory leak with newer versions of 6.5?
