It would be great if you could add the option to stream in ogg format in addition to the already available mp3 format in player/audio/lame and bitrate limiting options

Ogg sounds soooo much better in streaming at lower bitrates.

Bug#16242 is marked WONTFIX, which probably makes this feature request unworkable, as .ogg streams can't be reliably synced.

if this were true then Spotify wouldn't have a business model. Spotify streams only OGG format.

So if Spotify can do it reliably why can't Logitech?
