Description Keith Briscoe 2010-05-20 20:19:21 UTC
When using hardware with different CPU speeds (e.g. SB3 and Transporter) and certain codecs (e.g. Ogg, WMA, and high-bitrate FLAC), synchronized tracks may not start in sync. This will only last a few seconds before the sync code brings the two players back together.

To fix this, the firmware should fill the output buffer even when paused. Richard fixed this for squeezeplay in jive r3307, and that same fix could presumably be ported to ip3k.

NOTE: This is largely a duplicate of bug#6442. However, bug#6442 was filed as an "enhancement" and was auto-closed with other ip3k enhancements. This bug has been re-filed as a "bug" because I truly believe this is not a mere enhancement and is worth consideration.
