I had to interrupt SoftSqueeze recently while listening to an Internet radio station, and wished I had a Tivo-like pause facility that would continue recording the stream so I could pick it up again where I left off. Thought it would be a nice feature to add to SoftSqeeze. Then Richard Titmus recommended I suggest this as a feature for SlimServer, so here it is.
