Description Nick Lindridge 2005-11-29 11:39:11 UTC
Selecting "Browse Music Folder" via the remote initially works fine, however after exploring for a while and pressing a few different letters (numerics on the keypad), not only are tracks displayed that do not start with any of the letters for that numeric, but the sequence no longer cycles at all, and does not go to the first track with the first letter of that key.

For example, despite having tracks starting with J K L, have pressed an assortment of keys, pressing 5 (J) displays a track beginning with R. Pressing 5 four more times does nothing, giving the same track. On the fifth press, it displays 2_Mike_Oldfield. 2_Mike_Oldfield is the first track in the folder. Pressing 5 again, Rick Wakeman is displayed once more for several presses. Other buttons now give similar strange results. Backing out of the browse and going back in, results are fine for a while, but the same behaviour will result.

Cycling forward when pressing the same digit is desirable. However it would be better if pressing 5, for example, cycled J K L J K L etc., not J K L M N O ... After pressing a different key, e.g. 2, whether pressing 5 again returned to the same point in the sequence as when 5 was last pressed or returned to the first J again is a personal preference, and should be configurable.
