Description Filippo 2005-11-13 08:49:26 UTC
Since having installed 6.2 my player (SB2) stops playing after each song. In fact, lists do not show up at all in the server window and the add button doesn't do a thing (tunes do not show up in the right, 'now playing' frame.) This happens regardless of whether I control from the player or the server. I am running on a Win XP Media Center Edit., Firefox 1.0.7, and a WMA music library off a NAS. I also turned on UPnP on my Belkin Pre-N router as suggested in another bug.) Any ideas? Thanks.

WMA stopping after each song is already foxed. please try 6.2.1 nightly builds. In future, please try seaching for fixed bugs, or try the latest nightly be fore reporting a bug.

Please re-open or create a new bug if some part of this issue is not correct for you wit 6.2.1

I had indeed already installed the latest nightly (11/13/05) yet the problem persists.

This should be fixed as of Nov 11, see bug 2356. I've personally not seen a problem since. Which firmware version are you running on yrou Squeezebox2? You'll find the number at the bottom of the player settings page. Is this only with WMA, or other formats? Are any of the WMA files in question subject to Digital Rights Management? Are they WMA lossless?

it is odd that nothing shows up on the right side either. Have you tried other skins?

Filippo: what version firmware is running on your player? You can find this by pressing and holding LEFT for 5 seconds, then scroll to View Current Settings, then right and scroll to Firmware Version.

Dan, Thank you very much for the help but after much frustration I decided to start from scratch - reinstall everything, rescan, etc. and now the problem seems resolved. It is true however that the 'default 2' skin just doesn't work on my system - but that would be another issue.

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
